We offer vineyard, winery and wine tasting tours with the winemaker* on the majority of Saturdays at 11am or 2pm between April and October 2016 from just £10pp for large groups.
These give a great informative and fun insight into our winemaking process from soil to bottle. Our tours are virtually unique as they are given by one of the winemakers, Simon or Tom, and include a comprehensive, in-depth tour of both the vineyard and the winery, culminating in a wine tasting of our range of delicious wines.
Group discounts are automatically applied on the booking page.
All groups are accepted including hen and stag parties and these will qualify for a private tour subject to availability.
You will have the opportunity to learn how we grow and nurture our vines in a sustainable way to give us the best grapes. You will gain an understanding of how the weather can drastically affect our yield, and the importance of the soil and the environment to the wine.
We then walk to the winery, a converted Grade II listed Victorian barn at the top of the vineyard. You will be guided through how we make our wines, learning about the modern, innovative methods and state-of-the-art equipment that we use in our production of quality English wine.
The winemaker then talks you through a wine tasting of all our wines. This includes our wine that was selected for the Queen's party on the Royal Barge at her Diamond Jubilee celebrations and is served at top restaurants, such as Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons.
Tours take about 2hrs and start at 11am or 2pm. *Tours are given by either of the winemakers, Tom or Simon.
